The name Callaway has become synonymous with high-performance custom cars, especially Corvettes. Callaway Car’s first major contribution to making Corvettes even faster was a custom twin turbo kit built by founder Reeves Callaway back in the mid-80s. The twin turbo was actually made available through Chevy dealers as a factory installed option. Since then, Callaway has created multiple performance and visual upgrades for each new model year. Their latest creation is the 2015 SC627 Callaway Corvette Stingray, which is guaranteed to turn heads… and leave competitors in the dust.

The 2015 Callaway Corvette is based on the standard C7 Corvette Stingray, but it receives a variety of performance and cosmetic upgrades. The highlight of the performance upgrades is a Callaway built supercharger, using the Eaton TVS2300 rotor pack. In addition to their GenThree supercharger, Callaway adds an integrated high flow intake system, as well as a new triple element liquid-to-air intercooler. All of this adds up to a Corvette with 627 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 610 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,400 rpm. This is an increase of approximately 170 horsepower and 150 lb.-ft. of torque over a stock Stingray. Did we mention that the Callaway Corvette goes from 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds?

Beyond the performance upgrades, Callaway’s must-have custom Corvette gets a number of cosmetic upgrades. These upgrades include exterior and interior Callaway badging, Callaway door sill panels, embroidered floor mats, and even Callaway key fobs. If all that isn’t enough for you, there’s also a long list of optional equipment available, including a sport exhaust system, custom car cover, and a short-throw 7 speed shifter.

The Callaway treatment is available for any trim level of the 2015 Corvette, with a starting price of around $18,000 (in addition to the purchase price of the car itself). For those that have a Corvette addiction, and some extra cash, the Callaway treatment offers even more to love about this instant American classic.
