Old parts aren’t scrap, they’re valuable! At least that’s the philosophy Richard Romero and his son, Richard, Jr., have always followed. And that’s a good thing for their customers, many of whom wouldn’t be able to finish their projects without the sometimes rusty, but often rare parts that the Romeros bring to each and every Pomona Swap Meet.

Donor Cars: Lined up and ready for picking on Road 18!

Their company, Richard’s Towing, is known for selling 1937 and up GM and Chevy auto parts, and for bringing entire donor cars to Pomona to be parted out. You name it – fenders, bumpers, doors, hoods, trunk lids, running boards, even entire dashboards with original instruments – if you’re working on a project or rebuilding a wreck, this is the place for you. With parts from Impalas, C10 trucks, Stylelines, panel vans, wagons, and more, just let the Romeros know which part you need, and they’ll remove it for you and make you a deal!

Richard, Sr., started his towing business in 1962 and was one of the original vendors at the first ever Pomona Swap Meet in 1975. His brother, Steve, had vendor spaces right next to him. Steve’s business was Steve & Sons Old Chevy Parts, and the brothers operated side by side at the Pomona Swap Meet for twenty years, on what used to be Chevy Row. Sadly, Steve has passed away… but, the Romero spirit continues, and so does the family tradition of selling at Pomona.
