The Pomona Police Department will be out on the Main Aisle at <strong data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"451\">Space C20<\/strong>, proudly promoting the Pink Patch Project in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"938\">If you\u2019re not familiar with it, the Pink Patch Project started right here in SoCal back in 2015 when the Irwindale Police Department designed a pink version of their uniform patch. They sold the patches to raise money for breast cancer research\u2014and it sparked a movement. Today, hundreds of police, fire, and EMS agencies across the U.S. (and even around the world) have joined in.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1210\">Here\u2019s the deal:<br data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"959\" \/>\u2705 Officers wear a limited-edition pink patch on their uniforms throughout October.<br data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1048\" \/>\u2705 Departments sell patches, shirts, pins, and more to the public.<br data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1116\" \/>\u2705 Proceeds go directly to cancer research, treatment, and patient support organizations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1361\">It\u2019s more than just raising money, it\u2019s about starting conversations, supporting survivors, and showing love to families fighting breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1478\">Swing by the Pomona PD booth at the Swap Meet to grab your own Pink Patch gear and help make a difference.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1480\" data-end=\"1587\">Can\u2019t make it to the show?
