When Bo, Bebop, Johnny, Oscar and Tom decided to start a car club to make their tight knit group “official”, they didn’t have to think hard to come up with a name. Since they were just some fellas from the Inland Empire of Southern California, with a common love for cars, that was it – Fellas SoCal Car Club. Ironically, their names may fit perfectly in a 50’s or 60’s era sit-com and that era is just their passion. They’re a Kustom Kulture style club who enjoy building customs, hot rods and Gassers. \u00a0Since it’s origination in 2006, the Fellas Club has grown to 10 members, which is about where they intend to keep it, though they have started a Holland Chapter as well. Almost all members own two rides, which they’ve built themselves in their garages. Of course, they’ve had plenty of much-appreciated help from the other club members along the way. In fact, they like to set aside a weekend here and there to get the Fellas together for a big project on one of their cars, like a roof chop, sub-frame, etc.<\/p>\n

Just like the club, all their rides are unique, lay on the ground with air ride and as Bo says, “we aren’t afraid of color”. \u00a0The club’s vehicles are very diverse and include custom 40’s, 50’s & 60’s Chevy, Ford, Pontiac, Mercury, Olds cars and trucks and even a ’56 Austin hot rod taxi (pictured above). Fellas SoCal has had four of their cars shown on TV, many of them featured in magazines, with a few making front covers.<\/p>\n

The club doesn’t just hang out and work on cars together, they are all family men who like to get their families together to enjoy birthdays and BBQ’s. They appreciate the fact that the hobby they love allows them to have their families involved. At Christmas time, the club is happy to help out with a toy drive for kid’s in need. The Fellas also support other clubs and charities by attending car shows and events throughout the year. We are fortunate to have them as Pomona Swap Meet “regulars” and appreciate their contributions to the custom car world.<\/p>\n
