Classic car sales are big business around the world again. In the United Kingdom, classic cars have become a billion dollar industry… and they’ve become a new, tax-free asset class for those that can afford them. In China, classic cars are being used for marketing, to promote brand heritage, and they’ve also become a luxury item for high-end shoppers. And, of course, the classic car market continues to intensify in the US, where vintage autos have always been a desirable possession. There’s definitely money to be made in the classic car industry, both locally and globally.

Cars Wanted: Where to Buy and Sell

Hundreds of thousands of buyers and sellers know about the Pomona Swap Meet and Classic Car Show. We’ve been a reputable name on the car scene since 1975. Pomona is known around the world for being a great place to buy and sell classic cars, parts, accessories, and memorabilia. And with seven events each year, it’s a huge market. However, we also offer a way for you to reach car enthusiasts year-round. The Pomona Classifieds is a FREE classified ads section that allows you to buy or sell classic vehicles throughout the year, and from the comfort of your own home.

Tips for Sellers

The Pomona Classifieds lets you highlight your car or parts with photos. Upload a few good pics to get the most interest in your ad. If your car is unique, highly desirable, or just plain cool, we might even use one of your pictures, with a link to your ad, on our Facebook page… where we’ve got over 10,000 fans!

If you’re listing your car before one of our events AND you’re bringing it out to Pomona, make sure you mention that in your ad to draw even more interest. And remember, it’s all FREE. The Pomona Swap Meet and Classic Car Show doesn’t charge for the ad, or take any commission if you sell your car. Our goal is simple, and it’s the same goal we’ve had for nearly forty years… to connect car enthusiasts, both buyers and sellers.

Oh, and there’s also no limit to the number of cars or parts you can list, making this a great way for dealers to make money as well.

For Buyers

The cars are beautiful and the selection is growing every day. But, the picture quality and descriptions, as with any classified ads, range from mediocre to good to beautiful. We always recommend seeing a car in person before buying. If that’s not possible, make sure you ask very detailed questions when contacting the seller, and don’t be afraid to ask for more pictures of the car, and of specific parts of the car. You might also think about contacting a 3rd party to do a detailed inspection of the car. And if you do end up purchasing a car from a far off land, check out our friends at CFR Rinkens, Direct Express, or Mainfreight for your shipping needs.

So when you can’t make it out to Pomona, or if you just can’t wait for the next show, head over to the Pomona Classifieds to list your car for free or to start shopping!
