GR Motorsports, Inc.<\/a><\/strong> has been a regular vendor at the Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show for the last 10 years. You can currently find them on Road 30,\u00a0spaces 61, 63, 65, 67, 69 and 71<\/a><\/strong>. Under the brand names\u00a0TunedbyMatrix, Truck-Tek, Car-Tek, and TypeX Racing, they strive to bring the latest and hottest products to automotive enthusiasts. They offer\u00a0LED tail lights, billet grilles, custom fog lights, and\u00a0angel eye and CCFL headlights.\u00a0They also carry a full line of chrome accessories for trucks and SUVs, including fender trims, door handles and side step bars. We recently caught up with Mark Reinoso, the president of GR Motorsports, for a quick Q&A sesh:<\/p>\n

Tell us a little about yourself\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 When and how did you get started in the industry?
\nMR:<\/b>\u00a0 My dad started this business when I was a kid. I joined in 1993 and followed in his footsteps.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 What\u2019s the best part of your job?
\n<\/span>MR:<\/b>\u00a0 Selling.\u00a0 Wheeling and dealing with the customers.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 Have you always been interested in classic cars?
\n<\/span>MR:<\/b>\u00a0 Yes, my first car was a 1956 Chevy Bel Air when I was 16 years old.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 Do you currently own a classic car?\u00a0 If so, please describe it.
\n<\/span>MR:<\/b>\u00a0 I don\u2019t currently own a classic car, but I\u2019m looking for a Chevelle.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 How long has your company been in business?\u00a0 Tell us a little about your company\u2019s history.
\nMR:<\/b>\u00a0 GR Sales, which is our parent company, has been around for 30 years. GR Motorsports, aka Tuned by Matrix, has been around for 16 years. GR Sales started in the swap meets. They were big on buying closeouts and buy backs from Pep Boys and AutoZone. They started with floor mats. They used to buy the returns for $3 a set, then go to the swap meet and flip them for $10. That\u2019s what got us in the business. Then we opened a warehouse and became a WD distributor and importer.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 What does your company sell?
\n<\/span>MR:<\/b>\u00a0 Floor mats, LED bulbs, projector headlamps, LED taillights, custom grilles, fog lights, racing seats, mufflers, steering wheels, and LED light bars.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 What is your company\u2019s main focus?\u00a0 A simple mission statement, if you will.
\nMR:<\/b>\u00a0 Bringing new and innovative products to the market.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 Where do you get the parts that you sell?
\nMR:<\/b>\u00a0 We import from China, Taiwan, and Korea.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 What\u2019s your most popular product?\u00a0 Tell us a little about it.
\nMR:<\/b>\u00a0 LED light bars are the hottest item right now. We have Cree LED Epistar chips in the bar, starting at 5 to 10 watts. These lights are mainly for off-road trucks, Rhinos, Razors, quads, etc.<\/p>\n

PSM:<\/b>\u00a0 Do you offer any special swap meet deals or discounts?
\nMR:<\/b>\u00a0 Yes. At the swap meet only, everything is discounted!<\/p>\n
