It all started when I realized that there was only a handful of products and parts dealers for full-size Chevrolet cars. I started selling weather stripping out of my van. I went to as many car shows as possible, trying to start my company from the ground up. I started buying new old stock parts from closing dealerships, and I started reselling those as well. Soon, manufacturers started realizing that there was a market for Impala parts and they began production of more parts. With the wave of new parts being offered, Hubbard’s Impala Parts began to grow. My van was retired as a “warehouse,” and the business was moved into my backyard garage. But, the business quickly outgrew the garage. We moved to a warehouse in Burlington, N.C. In just a short amount of time, our inventory had grown from just weather stripping to emblems, sheet metal, interior parts, and just about anything you can think of for Chevy Impalas!

PSM: So what exactly do you sell?
JH: 1958-1976 full-size Chevy parts.
