We would like to thank the Orphan Car Group for\u00a0attending the April 17, 2016 Pomona Swap Meet to show us a few of the “gone but not forgotten” marques of auto manufacturers past. They delighted the crowd with a display of fun and rare classics; from race cars to beach cruisers, original to restored, you were sure to see something to put a smile on your face.

“Studebaker Steve” Broock, who organized the outing, would like to invite all “orphan<\/a><\/strong>” car drivers to the 9th<\/sup> Annual Orphan Car Night at Irwindale Speedway, on June 11, 2016. The day’s festivities will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Cabrera\u2019s Mexican Restaurant<\/a><\/strong>, 1856 Huntington Drive, Duarte, Calif. There will be some visiting and tire kicking, lunch, and then a cruise to Irwindale Speedway<\/a><\/strong>, 500 Speedway Drive, Irwindale, Calif., where the orphan vehicles will take a couple of parade laps around the track prior to the night’s racing.
