1. Did you know that Radio Flyer wagons originally came in a variety of colors, including blue, green, yellow and red?\u00a0Red always sold the best, and the little red wagons became an iconic symbol of childhood in America. Of course, that symbol didn’t have over-sized rims and tires like this customized wagon we saw rolling around Pomona! (Instagram, 04\/20\/2017)<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Ford built over 92,000 Square Birds for the 1960 model year,\u00a0helping the Thunderbird become one of the most popular FoMoCo models ever. Sales of the T-bird skyrocketed starting with the 1958 model year, in part, because Ford redesigned the car to include back row seating for the second gen T-birds. Over three years, the four-seater quadrupled the sales of the first gen two-seat Little Bird! (Facebook, 04\/14\/2017)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

3. We’ve always been in love with<\/span> @volksguy57<\/strong><\/a>‘s 1961 VW Bug. Is it the wine berry kandy paint? The sick rims and stance? The perfect for SoCal ragtop? All of the above?!? Yep… All of the above! (Facebook, 04\/12\/2017)<\/span><\/p>\n

4. A lot of people don’t realize that both Chevy and GMC produced the Suburban, helping it to become the record holder as the longest-running nameplate still in production. Chevy started in 1935, with GMC following suit 2 years later. In 2000, GMC re-badged their version as the Yukon XL, leaving Chevy to carry on the Suburban name all on their own.
