Recently, we featured a brief article about Pomona Swap Meet “regulars” Christophe and Virginia Matuszak, who moved to the United States from France, in search of “goodies” from swap meets, garage sales and antique stores along the West Coast.  Goodies and Family, as they are now known, has created a website where they sell and showcase the unique items that they find.

We checked in with Chris, after the January 13th Pomona Swap Meet, to see what new “goodies” he found at the show.

When asked what the coolest items were that he had found, Chris reported the following, “it’s a pair of real Seeburg wall juke boxes from the 50’s.” As for the other coolest items, Chris debated between a reproduction pedal plane, an assortment of 200 license plates and a Delco Batteries sign.

And how were the prices? Chris joked that “for a buyer, it’s always too much!” But when he contemplated his purchases, he decided that the “big lot of license plates were cheap and in good shape. That’s my favorite deal of the week!”

So now that Chris has some cool new items to add to his collection, what will he do with them? After he keeps “the best for me and my collection,” he continues, “I ship… all the items overseas in a container… and resale everything in France and Belgium.”

That’s all from Chris, for now.
