Let’s be honest. Huey Lewis said it, or rather sang it, best:  “it’s hip to be square.”  Driven by a shift in our hobby’s demographic, as more Gen-Xers and Millenials hit the scene, classic trucks are “in” right now, and there are none hotter than 1973 to 1987 GMC and Chevy C/K pickups, with their iconic square body style.  That’s where Joe Yezzi and his Squarebody Syndicate come in.  We’re stoked to have Squarebody Syndicate at every Pomona Swap Meet, selling their premium merchandise on Road 11, Spaces 20, 22, and 24.  But, it’s about to get even better… because on October 15th, the Pomona Swap Meet is hosting the “Squarebody Syndicate: Run to Pomona 2017”!

That’s right.  Some of the heaviest hitters from the GM and Chevy truck scene are coming together to be featured on the Main Aisle of the Pomona Swap Meet.  If you’re a truck guy (or girl), you will not want to miss this!

Like a lot of us, Joe’s passion is based on childhood memories – his dad drove a 1973 GMC short-bed.  Fueled by his nostalgia for riding shotgun in that two-tone Catalina Blue and Frost White pickup, Joe has turned his love for square body trucks into a business… and an extremely successful one, at that.  With a powerful social media presence and strong relationships with the largest builders in the industry, Joe’s Squarebody Syndicate has become a major player in the custom truck scene.

If you’re in Arizona, you should seriously think about joining the Run to Pomona — the meet up is at 8 a.m. at the Cracker Barrel on Litchfield Road in Goodyear, Ariz., on Saturday, October 14th (the day before the Pomona Swap Meet).  But, even if you can’t roll in with the trucks, you can still come meet Joe in person and see some incredible builds at the Pomona Swap Meet on Sunday, October 15th!

P.S. If you don’t know who Huey Lewis is, Google him to go back in time and you can get all the news about him and his band.  (See what I did there?)
