The cars won’t be the only thing turning heads at the Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show on Sunday, October 12, 2025. The Pomona Police Department will be out on the Main Aisle at Space C20, proudly promoting the Pink Patch Project in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

If you’re not familiar with it, the Pink Patch Project started right here in SoCal back in 2015 when the Irwindale Police Department designed a pink version of their uniform patch. They sold the patches to raise money for breast cancer research—and it sparked a movement. Today, hundreds of police, fire, and EMS agencies across the U.S. (and even around the world) have joined in.

Here’s the deal:
✅ Officers wear a limited-edition pink patch on their uniforms throughout October.
✅ Departments sell patches, shirts, pins, and more to the public.
✅ Proceeds go directly to cancer research, treatment, and patient support organizations.

It’s more than just raising money, it’s about starting conversations, supporting survivors, and showing love to families fighting breast cancer.

Swing by the Pomona PD booth at the Swap Meet to grab your own Pink Patch gear and help make a difference.

We’re proud to have the men and women of the Pomona Police Department join us at Pomona, not just to protect our streets, but also to stand beside our community in this important cause.

See you October 12th, and don’t forget to stop by Space C20 on the Main Aisle to support the Pink Patch Project!
