The Apple Valley Chapter of the Over the Hill Gang was featured on the Main Aisle of our March 3rd event, and the club members brought out an eye-catching assortment of Fords, Chevys, Studebakers, and Peterbilts.

This stunning ’56 Ford F100 belongs to Chuck Rhoades. Pool blue paint with custom flames, and an upgraded 302 under the hood. The truck has been in the Rhoades family for over fifty years.

A pair of classic Chevy Novas were on display, including this ’62 owned by Joel McKee. This baby has a 383 stroker, rack and pinnion steering, 4-link suspension, and a Ford 9-inch rear end.

Jim Westendorf is only the second owner of this 1965 Nova. It’s a 6-cylinder with tri-power setup, including three carburetors. Oh, and it’s also still got an 8-track player.

Dale Burke cruised into the show with his ’72 Chevy Chevelle Concours. This classic station wagon belonged to another club member, Rick Weber, who sadly passed away in 2014. It’s a good driver, and Dale has kept the wagon the same as how Rick had it.

And, finally, here’s Dan Hook’s 2006 Peterbilt, with a 1987 Ford E-350  chassis. Dan coordinated this outing for the club, and we’d like to give him a special thank you for getting everyone out to Pomona!
